The rural areas of Heathwaite and Lickbarrow, above Windermere, are delightful places to explore with wooded walk ways and some of the best viewpoints in the area from which to take in the beauty of the surrounding fells and, of course, Lake Windermere. Secret Garden, a ground floor cottage style apartment, is located in a large woodland and offers the ideal opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet whilst experiencing a host of local wildlife, including deer, squirrels and a large variety of birds. With a covered seating area to the front of the cottage, the flora and fauna can be enjoyed from the doorstep whilst partaking of al fresco wining and dining.
