Ettiford Farm Cottages are high quality barn conversions within a traditional farmyard setting. Nestling in a green valley, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, they are located on the fringes of Exmoor National Park and just three miles from the dramatic North Devon Coastline. The farm itself extends to 120 acres, including 20 acres of woodland and has the benefit of an onsite Clay Pigeon Shoot, which welcomes both beginners and experienced shots. A games room is provided for the use of cottage guests complete with a pool table, dartboard, and football table, a selection of books and DVD's and free internet Wi-Fi connection. Both cottages have eco friendly design features and are participants in the Green Tourism Award scheme. The impressive light and bright open plan living room with high vaulted oak beamed ceiling, comfy leather sofas and country cream kitchen has a contemporary feel and two steps lead down to the attractive master bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom. A wooden staircase rises up to the galleried landing and a spacious bedroom with countryside views from the deep silled window has its own modern en suite shower room. The front patio area provides space to relax and enjoy this wonderful woodland area. For a unique day out why not try the South West Shooting School located onsite, ideal for beginners or seasoned enthusiasts. Maybe you prefer the thrills of quad biking, 4 x 4 jeep drives or horse riding, whichever you choose is just around the corner. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Bedroom 1 with Double with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower attachment over bath, WC and basin. First floor: Bedroom 2 with Twin with ensuite shower room with WC and basin.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Under floor heating generated by a Ground Source Heat Pump. Wi-Fi access. Private water supply, tested regularly. Patio furniture. Gas BBQ (Gas provided). Parking for 2 cars. No cot is provided please bring your own travel cot. 1 pet welcome. No smoking. Emergency phone is available in communal games room with full size pool table, dart board and football table. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday.
