For that special occasion you can dine at the re-knowned Sharrow Bay Hotel, which is only 5 minutes walk. The Ullswater yacht club is directly opposite, weekly membership can be purchased if you wish to bring a boat, please contact direct - www.ullswateryachtclub.org Pooley Bridge is 2 miles and has cafes, shops and pubs.
